Snow guns are buried at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain resorts, as 10 feet of snow or more in Big Bear has made for epic ski and snowboard conditions
March 5--4 foot tall snowmaker atop 2-plus feet of snow...and it's buried!

The above photo shows what 10-plus feet of snowfall in Big Bear means. Snowmakers everywhere are buried and haven't been used in weeks after El Nino has delivered tons of snow...and forecasts do call for additional snowfall this weekend, though expectations have backed down to just a few inches. Still, it's icing on an already full and stuffed cake!

After this storm does whatever it is going to do, forecasts call for sunny skies so come enjoy a taste of it by booking a cozy room or cottage via the links on our Lodging Page. All roads are currently open with no restrictions but that can change in a hurry so check the links at left and remember to always carry chains when traveling in the mountains.
